My Mother and my Grandmother are on their way as we speak to come a babysit my two wonderful children so that my husband and I can have a night away. I get to get dressed up, have a steak dinner, go to a concert, and have hotel sex! When I asked my Mom if she could babysit, she didn't even hesitate and said "I would love too." Too me that deserves the manicure and pedicure I am taking her to today! I would eat worms if necessary to have a night away with the hubby :) I love you Mom!

This is not a joke. My daughter and I had a rough morning. The result was she got sent to her room. When she came out she had a piece of paper with her and told me that she wrote me a letter. Now I thought "How cute is that. She wants to apologize in a letter." Well that was not the kind of letter she composed. She read me her little scribbled letter and told me that tomorrow morning she was moving out because she didn't want to go to her room anymore. Now I wanted to laugh, but she was serious. Anybody have room for a 4 year old with tons of attitude??

Jon has come up with a nickname for the Mini Princess- Biggie Smalls. That is because she had her six month check up yesterday and she weighs 17 lbs. 13 oz., which by the way is in the 95th percentile for weight. I don't think Julia weighed 17 lbs. until she was like 10 months old. It also took Julia 2 years to gain 5 lbs and at 4 she is only 35 lbs. Samantha weighs half as much as her 4 year old sister! She is also 26 inches long which is all in the 95th percentile for height. The doctor even said to me "Wow are you sure she is only 6 months old. She looks like she is 9 months old." Well you know what- I love those cubby little legs. I guess that just means I am doing a good job? :)

Is it bad that I locked myself in our master bathroom with my US Magazine, turned on the fan, and sat and read it for 20 minutes? And the best part is when I came out no one seemed to notice. Have I finally gotten away with something??

I stepped on the scale this morning. Now would I want to ruin my day with that? No clue, but anyway I have lost 6 lbs. already- Holy Crap! Man drinking TONS of water and actually going to the gym must be working. Just makes me want to lose 6 more! I just miss my friend chocolate a whole bunch :(

Baby Reid was born at 11:45 am yesterday. After only 4 hours active labor and no drugs- can you believe that!! Summer rocks :)

Well I got a phone call from my BFF, Summer (aka The Drama Mama) this morning and her water broke last night! I am so excited!! So keep your fingers crossed for a safe and easy delivery. Can not wait to welcome baby Reid!! I will keep you posted!

After looking at some not flattering pictures of me taken at Disneyland last week, Amanda has decided that it is time to get back on the diet track. So Weight Watchers here I come. I will be doing it online since I am not one for public displays of fatness. Also, my gym called and asked where I was so I thought it might be nice to visit there at least 3 times a week. Jon and I are having a weekend get away for our 10th anniversary of our first date (his idea- can you believe that?? What a hubby) and that is in a month. I want to wear something HOT so lets see what happens. Keep your fingers crossed for me and for you others that share in my diet hell much hugs and kisses to you :)

6 years ago today I walked down to say "I do" to the love of my life. After all this time I feel even more in love than I ever have. He is a wonderful husband and the greatest Daddy ever. I feel very blessed to have found someone to grow old with. So to my darling husband, I adore you and love you more than life it's self. Happy Anniversary!!

Well we are off to Disneyland for the next and day and a half. I am excited- I love when Julia has this look on her face like "Oh my god! That is Cinderella standing right there!" Yet I have never taken a baby there and I forgot all the crap you have to bring. The Pack-in-Play, 2 strollers, a cooler for bottles, the diaper bag, binkys, blankets, etc.- That is just for like 30 hours away from home! Luckily we are going with the Greatest In-laws ever and that includes the Greatest Sister in Law ever. So wish me luck and you don't see on the news "Women Jumps from Boat on Pirates of the Caribbean Attempting to Escape her Family"- film at 11 :)

Dear Mini Princess-
I think that it is so awesome that you have been sleeping through the night this past month. I love that I can put you down and know that you will let mommy and daddy have a good nights rest. Even with your teeth coming you have been pretty good. I was just wondering though if you could do me 2 big favors. One, could you learn to put your binky in your mouth, not take it out? I mean really you will be so happy if you learn that once your binky is in your mouth, it is not wise to take that little tiny hand of yours and pull it out. Second, there is this thing on your crib called a bumper for a reason. It is so it blocks those cute chubby legs of yours from getting caught in between the slats. Do you think that you could stop doing that in the middle of the night. It hurts and I hate when you scream out in pain. Of course these are things that I know we can work on together. Thank you for being the little princess you are- We love you!

When your friend says "Hey lets go play pool" at the local country western bar and when you walk in there is nothing but 21 year olds and the loudest rap music you have ever heard- you should know that you will be drinking too much and feeling like shit the next day :) Man being hung over with 2 kids is no fun- lesson learned (of course till next time)
