Can't Wait Till She is 13...
Do you think that we should stop watching "America's Next Top Model" together??
Yes I know- what is she going to be like when she is a teenager??

A Little Bit Better
Ok so yesterday was good, today got even better. I have this small, tiny, little, itty-bitty, obsession with Justin Timberlake. If you have not heard him and I are secret lovers. Goes back to my boy band days when I waited 3 hours on the phone to get Summer and I Backstreet Boy tickets. Anyway, he is coming to San Diego and I didn't think I was going to get tickets and guess what- I did! No trouble at all either. So on January 8, 2007, I, the husband I am dragging, and 20,000 14 year old girls will be rocking out to Justin. Too bad I might need binoculars to see him :)

Mrs.Shitty McShitterson
That should be my name lately. My attitude sucks, my head hurts, my ass and arms hurt from the gym, my one kid (guess which one? Here is a hint- she is 4) is driving me crazy, my husband bugs, my best friend waits to call me back six hours later after I leave a message crying on the phone (you know who you are), and my toe nail almost broke all the way off yesterday. I guess this could all be PMS since I am on my period. I don't know- I just have had it!
Ok sorry had to vent- thanks for listening :)

FYI
After 4 shots of sake, don't let your friends and husband talk you into eating eel by saying it tastes like chicken. I don't know what kind of chicken they have been eating lately, but if it is salty, mushy, and fishy then it is true that eel tastes like chicken :)

Bringing Sexy Back
My recent shoe fetish splurge. I think the Hubby almost fainted when I tried them on. How about that for sexy- meow :)
I did however counteract the sexiness with these mom shoes. They are so comfortable-like wearing slippers. Not so sexy, but had to be sensible too :)

The Results
So yesterday was horrible! They has to stick 116 needles in Julia's small little back all filled with something that she could be allergic to. It was pure torture- I cried right along with her (well she screamed, I cried) It was amazing to see what people can be allergic too- everything from geese to vanilla. Well it turns out she is allergic to most pollens, trees, mold, and the best horses, dogs, cows, cockroaches, and green peppers. Good thing we don't live on a farm. The solution the doctor suggested- 4 years of 5 rounds of shots 2 times a week. Make sense?? 208 shots a year for 4 years. Um...yeah you can kiss my ass on that. I would do it if lets say she can't breathe, but she just gets her normal sickness during those times and it goes away. She will be on Claritin for the rest of her childhood I am sure, but that to me is better than shots for 4 years. I just could never do that to my girl. So anyway, that is how it went yesterday. We did take her to Target and purchased her whatever Polly Pocket she wanted (I hate those toys)
I hope everyone has a good day!

The Test
Today Julia has the test that I have been dreading since they told me she needed it- The allergy scratch test. This where they are going to scratch several places on her back and put what they might suspect she is allergic to in those scratches. What ever she has a reaction to is what she is allergic to. Sounds like fun huh?? I recruited Jon to come with me because I am sure as hell not doing this by myself. Also my grandma is watching the baby so we can focus on Julia. So that is what I get to do today. Cocktails are in my future :) And I will bet you $50 that she is allergic to cats and then that I means I have to find a home for the one we have. Yeah for me!!

Question? I Might Get Slammed for this One
Okay- my 19 year old neighbor is pregnant. I am not one to judge, but this is a total case of "I told you so." So anyway, I was invited to her baby shower next weekend. Jon and I will be out of town so I can not attend. When Samantha was born someone gave me a bath seat. We already had one so I never took it out of the box and used it. Would it be so bad to re-gift that?? I checked her registries and she does not have one on there. I also have some really cute Carter sleepers with tags still on them that I thought I could wrap up too. Am I being totally bad? I mean besides you guys, no one will ever know. Will I my karma come back to haunt me?? Help!!!
-Amanda
PS As I am writing this, Samantha is pulling herself up on my chair. At almost 7 months pulling herself up! I am so screwed even if me re-gifting presents doesn't get me first :)
